The Día de los Muertos Ritual Oil Collection brings together all six working oils created for The Brewery Co.'s 2026 Día de los Muertos collection.
Each oil has its own distinct purpose within the collection—preparing the space, illuminating the path, making the offering, remembering the dead, honoring beloved animals, and working with Santa Muerte through seasons of transition.
Together, they create a complete ritual collection centered around remembrance, hospitality, guidance, protection, offerings, continuing bonds, and love that does not end simply because a life does.

A seasonal devotional oil created for working with Santa Muerte through endings, thresholds, transition, protection, and guidance. Cempasúchil sits at the intersection of the seasonal imagery of Día de los Muertos and my personal devotion to La Santísima, without presenting Santa Muerte and Día de los Muertos as the same tradition.

Created especially for the animals who were—and remain—part of our families. Huellitas can be worked with pet ofrendas, memorial candles, photographs, collars, tags, and keepsakes while remembering beloved animal companions who have passed.

How to Work With the Collection
These oils were designed to stand individually, so you do not need to use all six in a single ritual or maintain a formal Día de los Muertos practice to work with them.
They can also be intentionally combined throughout the process of preparing an ofrenda.
You might use Ofrenda while cleansing, preparing, and dedicating the altar space; Cempasúchil while creating the symbolic pathway toward it; Pan de Muerto when placing offerings; and Recuérdame while adding photographs, speaking names, telling stories, or sitting in remembrance.
Huellitas creates a dedicated place within that work for animal companions who have passed.
Santa Muerte Cempasúchil is distinct from the other five. It was created specifically for those who work with or honor Santa Muerte and is included as my own devotional contribution to this collection. Santa Muerte devotion and Día de los Muertos are separate traditions, and you do not need to work with Santa Muerte in order to observe Día de los Muertos.
About This Collection
This collection is for everyone. You do not have to be Mexican or Hispanic to honor your dead, remember the people you love, or find meaning in these traditions. But being welcomed into another culture comes with a responsibility to respect it—to learn where these traditions come from, honor the people who have carried them, listen to and elevate the voices of those within that culture, and embrace the culture rather than separating the beautiful parts from the people they belong to. If you come to this collection with that respect, curiosity, and an open heart, you are welcome here.
A portion of the proceeds from the Día de los Muertos Collection will be donated to the Acacia Center for Justice's Children's Legal Support Fund, supporting legal service providers dedicated to representing unaccompanied children.
