The Día de los Muertos Complete Perfume Collection includes every fragrance created for The Brewery Co.'s 2026 Día de los Muertos collection: La Catrina, El Catrín, Calaverita, Flor de Muerto, Una Taza Más, and Fantasmas.

I didn't want to create six fragrances that smelled like variations of the same thing. Each perfume was built around a different piece of the collection's story, which means this set moves from dark florals and tobacco-soaked woods to sugar, cempasúchil, chocolate, and finally something cool, spectral, and atmospheric.

Together, they tell the whole story.

The Six Fragrances

LA CATRINA — Dark Floral

Elegant, dramatic, richly floral, and just a little dark around the edges. Inspired by the iconic skeletal figure whose history stretches from José Guadalupe Posada's La Calavera Garbancera to the elegant Catrina recognized today.

EL CATRÍN — Tobacco, Oud & Amber

The counterpart to La Catrina: impeccably dressed, polished, warm, and masculine-leaning without being limited by gender. Sweet tobacco and dark woods meet leather, citrus, spice, amber, and a subtle creamy finish.

CALAVERITA — Sugar Skull Gourmand

The playful one.

Inspired by the colorful calaveritas de azúcar associated with Día de los Muertos, Calaverita is unapologetically sweet—pink sugar, bright fruit, fruity cereal, creamy condensed milk, and toasted marshmallow.

Basically, sugar on top of sugar.

FLOR DE MUERTO — Cempasúchil, Tangerine & Sandalwood

A fragrance built around the actual aroma of the flower rather than an imagined sweet floral interpretation of it.

Pure cempasúchil essential oil gives Flor de Muerto its distinctive green, herbal, earthy floral character. Solar petals and tangerine bring warmth and brightness, while sandalwood and amber soften the edges and a trace of Fireside leaves subtle smoke beneath the flowers.

UNA TAZA MÁS — Mexican Hot Chocolate Gourmand

“One more cup.”

Rich chocolate and cacao melt into condensed milk, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom, with orange and a subtle flicker of chile warmth underneath.

Created around the sensory memories attached to food, family, and the things we'd give almost anything to share with someone one more time.

FANTASMAS — Ethereal Floral & Atmospheric

The dead are coming home.

Fantasmas is the collection's atmospheric fragrance: cool night air and pale flowers suspended above damp earth, moss, warm woods, amber, and the faint trace of extinguished candles.

It isn't a fragrance about being afraid of ghosts.

Not every ghost is something to fear. Some of them are simply someone you miss.

About This Collection

This collection is for everyone. You do not have to be Mexican or Hispanic to honor your dead, remember the people you love, or find meaning in these traditions. But being welcomed into another culture comes with a responsibility to respect it—to learn where these traditions come from, honor the people who have carried them, listen to and elevate the voices of those within that culture, and embrace the culture rather than separating the beautiful parts from the people they belong to. If you come to this collection with that respect, curiosity, and an open heart, you are welcome here.

A portion of the proceeds from the Día de los Muertos Collection will be donated to the Acacia Center for Justice's Children's Legal Support Fund, supporting legal service providers dedicated to representing unaccompanied children.
