Black Cat is prepared using genuine black cat bones as central ritual curios within the master batch.

These bones were ethically sourced from a witch's beloved familiar after the cat passed away. No animal was harmed or killed for the creation of this oil. The bones were respectfully obtained after the familiar's life had ended and are incorporated into this working with reverence for both the animal and the relationship it shared with its witch.

Within Black Cat, the bones create a direct spiritual and symbolic link to the black cat itself and the qualities at the heart of this working: luck, instinct, stealth, protection, independence, survival, resilience, and nine lives.

The bones are not included for shock value, novelty, or decoration. They are intentional ritual curios and are treated with respect throughout the preparation and working of the oil.

Every bottle of Black Cat is poured from a master batch ritually prepared and worked with genuine black cat bones.

2 fl oz Ritual Oil: Each full-size dropper bottle also contains a small piece of genuine black cat bone from the same ethically sourced remains as an individual ritual curio.

10 ml Rollerball: The rollerball is poured from the same bone-worked master batch, but does not contain an individual piece of bone.

Ritual Formula

Black Cat is prepared with catnip, abre camino, five-finger grass, rue, slippery elm bark, bay leaf, boneset, and rosemary, along with genuine black cat bones in the master preparation.

The formula is built around the oil's three currents:

CHANCE — Catnip, abre camino, five-finger grass, and bay support luck, opportunity, fortunate timing, open roads, and circumstances moving in your favor.

EVADE — Rue, slippery elm, and abre camino support protection, obstacle avoidance, slipping around trouble, and finding another way through.

RECOVER — Boneset, rosemary, and five-finger grass support resilience, reversal, adaptability, second chances, and regaining your footing after a setback.

The black cat bones unite all three currents, bringing the symbolism of the black cat itself into the heart of the working.

Fragrance

Black Cat is dark, green, earthy, and mysterious—a fragrance inspired by herbs crushed beneath paws in an old garden after midnight.

Peppercorn, coriander, and sage create an herbal opening before moving into green foliage, moss, patchouli, oakmoss, cedar, and balsam. Warmer notes of amber, benzoin, and sweet tobacco settle beneath the greenery, giving the fragrance a smooth, earthy depth.

The result is herbal, mossy, woody, warm, and slightly uncanny—dark and atmospheric without becoming overly smoky, sweet, or incense-heavy.
