Welcome to the Autumn Grimoire. Autumn doesn’t arrive all at once, so like the season, this collection unfolds in chapters.
Beginning with the first stirrings of the season in August and continuing through Día de los Muertos, each chapter follows the changing landscape, magic, holidays, and spiritual thresholds and traditions of autumn.
Together, the oils carry us through the harvest season, the Autumn Equinox, Halloween, Samhain, and the rites that follow before we turn toward the Winter Solstice. Each chapter tells another part of the season’s story, creating one evolving grimoire of autumn magic.
The latest ‘Chapter’ will be located at the top. Scroll down to see the rest of the chapters as well!
Autumn Grimoire- Chapter Two: The Witching Season
Chapter Two carries us from the early harvest into the deepening witching season, when nights lengthen, shadows sharpen, and the atmosphere begins to feel charged. Its magic is darker, more cunning, and more liminal, exploring devotion, uncanny luck, hidden paths, bargains, power, and transformation.
This is the gathering darkness before the veil fully opens.
Bargaining, favorable exchange, reciprocity, sweetening deals & collecting what you're owed
Description
Trick or Treat is a ritual oil created for bargaining, negotiation, exchange, reciprocity, and collecting your side of the deal.
At its heart is one of the simplest forms of exchange:
You have something I want. I have something you want. Let's make a deal.
Trick or Treat is not simply a money-drawing oil, nor is it designed as domination work. Instead, it works through incentive, persuasion, reciprocity, and return—making an exchange worth entering, helping favorable terms come together, and calling in what belongs to you once you've fulfilled your end.
The formula moves through three currents:
BARGAIN — For negotiation, persuasion, favorable terms, offers, agreements, bartering, and making what you bring to the table more appealing.
EXCHANGE — For creating reciprocity between parties. Money for work. Favors for favors. Goods for goods. Services for compensation. Offerings for spiritual assistance. Something given and something received.
COLLECT — For the moment when you've done your part and it's time for the other side to do theirs. Payment, compensation, promised favors, agreed-upon returns, recognition, or whatever is necessary to complete the exchange.
And then there is the Treat.
The sweetness in the bargain. The incentive. The thing that makes someone willing to come to the table in the first place.
But the old phrase contains both sides of the agreement.
You give the treat—or there's a trick.
Trick or Treat carries that same underlying current: an exchange has terms, and terms are meant to be honored.
Make the offer. Strike the bargain. Complete the exchange.
Then collect.
Magical Use
Use Trick or Treat for:
Bargaining and negotiation
Favorable deals and terms
Sweetening a deal
Persuasion and cooperation
Business agreements
Contracts and negotiations
Bartering and trade
Sales and client work
Getting paid for your work
Collecting money owed
Compensation
Calling in favors
Reciprocity
Fair or advantageous exchange
Making an offer more appealing
Receiving something promised
Getting a return on what you've given
Spiritual petitions and offerings
Reciprocal spirit work
Business opportunities
Establishing terms before an exchange
Situations where both parties have something the other wants
Trick or Treat can be worked at any stage of an exchange.
Use it beforehand to strengthen your bargaining position and sweeten the offer.
Use it while terms are being established to encourage cooperation and reciprocity.
Use it afterward when you've upheld your side of the bargain and it's time to collect theirs.
Ritual Formula
Trick or Treat is handcrafted with a proprietary blend of herbs, roots, botanicals, and traditional sweetening ingredients selected for their magical associations with persuasion, favors, prosperity, opportunity, successful business, reciprocity, and material return.
The formula features five-finger grass, basil, orange peel, and chamomile, alongside additional ingredients chosen specifically to support the three currents of the working.
BARGAIN — Persuasion, cooperation, favorable negotiations, compelling offers, and strengthening your position within an exchange.
EXCHANGE — Attraction, reciprocity, receptivity, mutual benefit, and encouraging the movement of value between parties.
COLLECT — Money, compensation, material return, fulfillment of agreements, and receiving what is due once your side has been fulfilled.
A traditional sweetening element represents the Treat within the working—the incentive that makes the bargain desirable and encourages receptivity to the exchange.
The complete ritual formula is proprietary to The Brewery Co.
Each batch is individually prepared, worked, and charged according to its intended purpose.
Fragrance
Of course, an oil called Trick or Treat had to smell like Halloween candy.
The fragrance opens with bright candied apple, red berries, fruit candy, and spun sugar, followed by a sticky-sweet heart of caramel and brown sugar.
As it settles, warm vanilla, maple, tonka, soft autumn spice, amber, and dark musk emerge underneath the sweetness, giving the fragrance enough warmth and depth to remain wearable rather than smelling like straight candy.
Think of dumping your Halloween haul across the table at the end of the night: candied fruit, caramel apples, handfuls of sweets, sugar in the air, and something warm and autumnal underneath it all.
Fragrance Profile:
Candied Apple • Red Berries • Spun Sugar • Caramel • Fruit Candy • Brown Sugar • Warm Vanilla • Maple • Soft Spice • Amber • Tonka • Dark Musk
How to Use
Anoint candles, petitions, charms, talismans, money bowls, business materials, contracts, offerings, altar tools, or other ritual objects connected to the exchange you're working toward.
For bargaining, use Trick or Treat before negotiations, making an offer, discussing terms, asking for a favor, pitching your work, or entering an agreement.
For exchange, incorporate it into workings where reciprocity is important—particularly business transactions, bartering, favors, agreements, or spiritual practices involving petition and offering.
For collecting, use it after you've already fulfilled your obligation when payment, compensation, a promised favor, or another agreed-upon return has yet to reach you.
For sweetening the deal, anoint your petition or working while focusing on why accepting your offer benefits the other party as well as yourself.
The 10 ml rollerball may also be worn as a ritual fragrance before negotiations, sales, business meetings, client interactions, important conversations, or anytime you want the current of Trick or Treat close to you.
Bargain. Exchange. Collect.

Description
Witching Hour is a ritual oil created for magic that needs to know when to move. Worked specifically for magical timing, activation, and awakening, this formula can be used to program a working to begin at a chosen hour, respond to a particular condition, or awaken only when its appointed trigger occurs.
Not every spell is meant to take effect immediately. Some workings need to remain quiet until the right moment. Others need to react when someone takes a particular action, return at the same hour each night, or receive another pulse after their energy has gone dormant. Witching Hour gives that intention structure, allowing the practitioner to establish not only what the magic should do, but when it should begin.
Unlike a traditional fast-action oil, Witching Hour is not intended simply to make results arrive sooner. It functions as a magical alarm, switch, and tripwire—supporting delayed activation, repeating cycles, conditional workings, and the reawakening of spells that have become quiet or stagnant.
Each bottle is handcrafted, ritually worked, and magically charged as part of the Autumn Grimoire: Chapter Two collection. Carefully blended with herbs, roots, seeds, botanicals, and premium fragrance oils, Witching Hour captures the atmosphere of an old ritual room at 3 a.m. with aged teakwood, worn leather, cold ozone, damp earth, black cardamom, star anise, black pepper, dark musk, oakmoss, and a faint discharge of gunpowder.
This is timed magic.
The quiet moment before the clock strikes, the condition is met, and the sleeping spell finally awakens.
Magical Uses
This oil is traditionally worked to support:
programming a spell to activate at a particular hour
setting delayed-action or time-sensitive workings
creating magical triggers based on a specific event or condition
activating a working when someone contacts you, speaks your name, falls asleep, crosses a threshold, or takes a predetermined action
reawakening dormant, stalled, or quiet spellwork
programming recurring activation at the same time each night
connecting workings to lunar phases, planetary hours, or other magical timing systems
synchronizing multiple spell components so they activate together
reinforcing long-term workings with scheduled energetic pulses
dressing candles, petitions, spell jars, sigils, charms, clocks, timers, ritual tools, and delayed-action workings
Botanical & Magical Components
Witching Hour contains a thoughtfully selected blend of herbs, roots, seeds, botanicals, and natural ingredients traditionally associated with nocturnal magic, liminal space, celestial cycles, magical instruction, activation, and awakening.
Featured ingredients include Mugwort, Mistletoe, Bay Leaf, Mustard Seed, Mandrake Root, Star Anise, and additional herbs, botanicals, and magical components that remain part of The Brewery Co.'s proprietary formula.
Mugwort and Star Anise connect the formula to nighttime magic, celestial timing, and repeating cycles. Bay Leaf carries the instruction placed upon the working, while Mustard Seed provides the spark that initiates movement. Mistletoe represents the suspended space between dormant and active, and Mandrake Root is worked to awaken and animate the magic once its appointed trigger has been reached.
Every ingredient has been intentionally chosen to support workings centered on timing, delayed activation, conditional response, recurring cycles, and awakening dormant magical energy.
Scent Profile
The fragrance feels like entering an old ritual room moments before three in the morning. A grandfather clock stands among aged teakwood, cedar, worn leather, and dusty books while cold, damp air carries ozone, bergamot, mint, moss, and earth through an open window. Black cardamom, star anise, and pepper begin to rise just before the hour is broken by a faint metallic discharge of gunpowder.
Top Notes: Ozone • Bergamot • Citron • Mint
Heart Notes: Black Cardamom • Star Anise • Leather • Cedar
Base Notes: Gunpowder • Dark Musk • Oakmoss • Patchouli
Overall Scent: Dark, atmospheric, and distinctly witchy, with aged woods, worn leather, cold night air, damp moss, earthy patchouli, black cardamom, pepper, and a faint trace of gunpowder. A subtle creaminess softens the sharper metallic and ozonic notes without making the fragrance sweet or gourmand.
How to Use
As an anointing oil:
Apply to pulse points before performing time-sensitive, delayed-action, or conditional magic. Use to dress candles, petitions, spell jars, sigils, charms, clocks, timers, ritual tools, or any working intended to remain dormant until a specific hour or condition is reached.
When programming a trigger, clearly name the condition while anointing the working. State when the magic should awaken, what event will activate it, and whether the activation should occur once or repeat according to a chosen schedule.
As a perfume oil:
This oil is skin-safe and designed to be worn. As a perfume, it can be used when working with magical timing, preparing for ritual at a significant hour, reawakening personal momentum, or waiting for the right moment to act.
Anointing oils have long been used to carry intention. Wearing them allows that intention to remain with you until the moment arrives and the work is called into motion.

Devotion, deity embodiment, descent, transformation & Underworld workings
Description
Dark Persephone is a deity anointing oil created to embody and connect with Persephone in her darker aspect—the Queen who has crossed the threshold, descended into the Underworld, and returned transformed.
This is not Persephone solely as Kore, the maiden gathering flowers in the meadow. This oil honors Persephone as Queen of the Underworld: sovereign, initiated, powerful, and intimately acquainted with the mysteries of death, rebirth, descent, and return.
Created primarily as a deity oil, Dark Persephone can be used to deepen devotional practice, invoke Persephone's presence and energy, dress offerings and altar tools, anoint candles, or embody her current within ritual and spellwork. It is intended to carry the atmosphere of her chthonic aspect—the pomegranate, the earth below, the throne beside Hades, and the woman who emerges from darkness changed by what she has encountered there.
Beyond devotion, Dark Persephone lends itself naturally to workings surrounding shadow work, personal transformation, endings and beginnings, reclaiming power, navigating periods of descent, initiation, grief, rebirth, and becoming the person you are on the other side of an experience.
There is darkness here, but it is not helpless darkness.
It is the darkness of fertile earth.
The darkness of the seed before it breaks open.
The darkness of the Underworld before the ascent.
Persephone descends as one version of herself and returns as another.
Dark Persephone is the oil for meeting her there.
Magical Use
Use Dark Persephone for:
Devotion and offerings to Persephone
Connecting with Persephone's chthonic or Underworld aspect
Invoking or embodying Persephone's energy
Deity work and devotional ritual
Underworld and chthonic workings
Shadow work
Descent and initiation
Death and rebirth symbolism
Personal transformation
Moving through endings and major transitions
Reclaiming sovereignty after difficult experiences
Grief and release work
Crossing thresholds
Emerging from periods of darkness
Anointing deity candles, statues, altar tools and offerings
This oil may also be worn as a ritual perfume when intentionally working with or embodying Persephone's darker current.
Fragrance
Dark Persephone opens with a rich, tart pomegranate accord, blending two different interpretations of the fruit to create something deeper and more complex than simple sweetness.
Dark fig and plum deepen the pomegranate into something ripe, red and almost wine-like before giving way to white jasmine and neroli. Beneath the fruit and florals lies a darker foundation of oud, tonka, suede, smoke, cypress, moss, incense and patchouli.
The result is dark fruit, ancient woods, smoke and flowers—sensual and feminine without becoming overly sweet.
Imagine a pomegranate split open on an altar beneath the earth, its ruby seeds scattered beside burning incense and flowers left for a queen.
Fragrance profile:
Pomegranate · Red Currant · Dark Fig · Plum · Jasmine · Neroli · Oud · Tonka · Cypress · Moss · Incense · Patchouli · Smoke
Ritual Ingredients
Each bottle is ritually prepared with herbs and curios selected for their traditional, symbolic, and magical associations with Persephone, the Underworld, transformation, sovereignty, descent, and return, including pomegranate seed and rind.
The ingredients are chosen intentionally to create an oil that functions as more than fragrance. Dark Persephone is formulated as a working devotional and ritual oil designed to carry the symbolism and current of the deity it honors.
Each bottle is individually prepared, worked and charged before it leaves The Brewery Co.
How to Use
Anoint candles, petitions, altar tools, deity statues, offerings or ritual objects. Add a small amount to your hands before devotional practice or meditation, or wear as a ritual fragrance when invoking or embodying Persephone's energy.
For transformation or shadow work, anoint a candle or ritual object while naming what is being left behind, what is being encountered in the descent, and what you intend to carry back with you when you rise.
As with all deity work, approach Persephone with respect and allow your own devotional relationship and spiritual practice to guide how the oil is incorporated.

Energetic feeding, magnetism, vitality, personal power & thriving
Description
Sanguine is a ritual oil created around the archetype of the vampire—not as costume or fantasy, but as a symbol of hunger, magnetism, vitality, consumption, self-preservation, and power.
Its working follows one simple current:
DRAW • DEVOUR • THRIVE
Sanguine is worked to help you draw toward yourself the energy, attention, opportunities, resources, desire, recognition, and circumstances that can sustain your growth—and then actually use what comes to you.
This is not passive attraction magic.
It is the difference between wanting an opportunity and seizing it. Between receiving attention and knowing how to command a room with it. Between surviving on scraps and recognizing what feeds you.
Draw what nourishes you.
Devour the opportunities placed before you.
Thrive on what you receive.
Sanguine can be worked when you want to become more magnetic, ambitious, visible, resilient, confident, and energetically potent. It is particularly suited to periods when you need to stop shrinking, stop starving yourself of what you want, and become willing to pursue the things that make you feel powerful and alive.
It may also be used to transform outside attention into fuel. Admiration, desire, recognition, competition, envy, and even being underestimated can all become energy redirected toward your own momentum.
Sanguine does not ask you to apologize for being hungry.
It asks what you intend to do once you've been fed.
Magical Use
Use Sanguine for:
Energetic feeding and replenishment
Personal magnetism
Drawing attention and recognition
Vitality and personal power
Confidence and presence
Ambition and motivation
Drawing opportunities and resources
Business and client attraction
Success and competitive workings
Seduction and sexual magnetism
Influence and visibility
Turning attention into personal fuel
Resilience and self-preservation
Reclaiming your appetite for life
Building momentum
Thriving rather than simply surviving
Sanguine may be especially useful before situations where you need to be seen, desired, remembered, competitive, persuasive, ambitious, or fully present in your own power.
Fragrance
Sanguine smells like something poured into a jeweled chalice after midnight.
Dark black cherry and red wine form the heart of the fragrance, surrounded by black currant, blood-red berries, dark plum, jasmine, and a flash of blood orange.
As it settles, the fruit gives way to black musk, amber, oak, leather, labdanum, tonka, and warm resinous depth.
Rich and seductive without becoming sugary, Sanguine is a dark-fruit fragrance with warmth, skin, wine, and shadow underneath it.
Fragrance Profile:
Black Cherry • Red Wine • Black Currant • Dark Berries • Blood Orange • Plum • Jasmine • Black Musk • Amber • Oak • Leather • Labdanum • Tonka
Ritual Ingredients
Each bottle is ritually prepared with herbs selected to support the three stages of Sanguine's working:
DRAW — Hibiscus and rose support magnetism, desirability, attraction, and drawing energy inward.
DEVOUR — Damiana, cinnamon, and ginger bring hunger, desire, heat, drive, movement, and the willingness to act upon what you attract.
THRIVE — Basil and patchouli ground that energy into prosperity, resources, growth, and material success.
Together, the formula is worked not simply to attract, but to draw nourishment toward you, consume what serves you, and turn it into greater vitality and personal power.
Each bottle is individually prepared, worked, and charged by The Brewery Co.
How to Use
Anoint candles, petitions, ritual tools, money workings, business materials, or other objects associated with what you intend to draw toward yourself.
Wear Sanguine as a ritual fragrance when working with personal magnetism, confidence, seduction, visibility, ambition, or energetic presence.
Before entering social events, dates, business meetings, performances, content creation, sales situations, or other environments where attention and opportunity matter, anoint yourself while focusing on the current:
Draw. Devour. Thrive.
Sanguine may also be incorporated into candle or petition work focused on drawing clients, opportunities, money, recognition, desire, influence, or other forms of nourishment toward the practitioner.

Chance, evasion, recovery, luck & landing on your feet
Description
Black Cat is a ritual oil created for the kind of luck that doesn't simply bring good things your way—it helps you beat the odds, avoid the trouble in your path, and land on your feet when things go wrong anyway.
Inspired by the folklore, mystery, instinct, and uncanny survival of the black cat, this formula moves through three currents:
CHANCE • EVADE • RECOVER
CHANCE works with probability, fortunate timing, unexpected openings, lucky breaks, and circumstances falling in your favor. It is the luck of taking the right turn, being in the right place at exactly the right moment, or discovering an opportunity you couldn't have planned for.
EVADE is protection through movement. Rather than building a wall and waiting for trouble to hit it, Black Cat is worked to help you slip around obstacles, avoid unnecessary conflict, recognize trouble before it reaches you, and find the opening that gets you through.
RECOVER calls upon the proverbial nine lives of the cat. Because sometimes you don't avoid the fall. Black Cat is also worked for resilience, adaptability, second chances, reversal, and the ability to land on your feet, regain your footing, and keep moving.
This is the narrow escape.
The unexpected opportunity.
The door that opens just before you reach it.
The situation that should have gone completely to shit—but somehow works out.
Black Cat isn't reckless luck.
It is luck with instinct. Protection with agility. Resilience with claws.
Take the chance. Evade the fall. Recover your footing.
Magical Use
Use Black Cat for:
Good luck and fortunate outcomes
Beating unfavorable odds
Chance and probability magic
Lucky breaks and unexpected opportunities
Fortunate timing
Protection through evasion
Avoiding obstacles and unnecessary trouble
Narrow escapes
Road opening and finding alternate routes
Travel protection
Stealth and discretion
Breaking runs of bad luck
Reversing difficult circumstances
Recovery after setbacks
Resilience and adaptability
Second chances
Business risks and competitive situations
Navigating chaotic or unpredictable circumstances
Nine lives workings
Landing on your feet
Black Cat is particularly suited to situations where you cannot control every variable and need luck, instinct, adaptability, and protection working together.
The Black Cat Bones
Black Cat is prepared using genuine black cat bones as central ritual curios within the master batch.
These bones were ethically sourced from a witch's beloved familiar after the cat passed away. No animal was harmed or killed for the creation of this oil. The bones were respectfully obtained after the familiar's life had ended and are incorporated into this working with reverence for both the animal and the relationship it shared with its witch.
Within Black Cat, the bones create a direct spiritual and symbolic link to the black cat itself and the qualities at the heart of this working: luck, instinct, stealth, protection, independence, survival, resilience, and nine lives.
The bones are not included for shock value, novelty, or decoration. They are intentional ritual curios and are treated with respect throughout the preparation and working of the oil.
Every bottle of Black Cat is poured from a master batch ritually prepared and worked with genuine black cat bones.
2 fl oz Ritual Oil: Each full-size dropper bottle also contains a small piece of genuine black cat bone from the same ethically sourced remains as an individual ritual curio.
10 ml Rollerball: The rollerball is poured from the same bone-worked master batch, but does not contain an individual piece of bone.
Ritual Formula
Black Cat is prepared with catnip, abre camino, five-finger grass, rue, slippery elm bark, bay leaf, boneset, and rosemary, along with genuine black cat bones in the master preparation.
The formula is built around the oil's three currents:
CHANCE — Catnip, abre camino, five-finger grass, and bay support luck, opportunity, fortunate timing, open roads, and circumstances moving in your favor.
EVADE — Rue, slippery elm, and abre camino support protection, obstacle avoidance, slipping around trouble, and finding another way through.
RECOVER — Boneset, rosemary, and five-finger grass support resilience, reversal, adaptability, second chances, and regaining your footing after a setback.
The black cat bones unite all three currents, bringing the symbolism of the black cat itself into the heart of the working.
Each master batch is individually prepared, worked, and charged by The Brewery Co.
Fragrance
Black Cat is dark, green, earthy, and mysterious—a fragrance inspired by herbs crushed beneath paws in an old garden after midnight.
Peppercorn, coriander, and sage create an herbal opening before moving into green foliage, moss, patchouli, oakmoss, cedar, and balsam. Warmer notes of amber, benzoin, and sweet tobacco settle beneath the greenery, giving the fragrance a smooth, earthy depth.
The result is herbal, mossy, woody, warm, and slightly uncanny—dark and atmospheric without becoming overly smoky, sweet, or incense-heavy.
Fragrance Profile:
Peppercorn • Coriander • Sage • Green Herbs • Moss • Oakmoss • Cedar • Patchouli • Balsam • Amber • Benzoin • Sweet Tobacco
How to Use
Anoint candles, petitions, charms, talismans, ritual tools, travel items, business materials, or objects connected to the situation you're trying to navigate.
Use Black Cat before travel, applications, important meetings, negotiations, competitions, business decisions, difficult conversations, or situations where the outcome contains an element of uncertainty.
For chance workings, use it when you need the odds to break in your favor, fortunate timing, an unexpected opportunity, or another route to appear.
For evasion workings, use it when your goal isn't to confront an obstacle head-on but to avoid it, move around it, or pass through the situation without becoming caught up in it.
For recovery workings, use Black Cat after a setback while focusing on regaining your footing, finding another path, reversing your circumstances, and continuing forward.
The 10 ml rollerball may also be worn as a ritual fragrance when you want the current of Black Cat close to you throughout the day.
Chance. Evade. Recover.
